We are certified Iyengar Teachers. We met in 2014 when taking classes at the Iyengar institute in Amsterdam, and immediately became friends. We have practiced together for many years and shared nice moments, like workshops with Senior teachers in The Netherlands and in Portugal.
One day we had the idea of going to India together to study at the Ramani institute. In 2019 this dream came true and we went on this trip together!
We stayed a month and during one of those evenings talking about how much we had learned so far, and how much we enjoy each other’s company we had another idea: What if we host a retreat together? So we started to plan and think about every detail.
We are very happy that the moment has arrived to invite you to manifest this dream together and share these days in beautiful Portugal, practicing yoga and pranayama, eating re-energizing food, walking in the forest, and more!
Rooms sharing / private, with choice of single or double beds.
€ 450 : Sharing room + shared bathroom.

What is included
Asana & Pranayama to suit all levels
17th – A yoga class and welcome dinner after class.
18, 19 & 20th- 2 yoga classes morning and evening. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Drinks and fruits during the day.
21st – Morning goodbye class and brunch.
Quinta da Lua Nova is in Travancinha a beautiful area in the center of Portugal where you will be able to connect with nature, swim, and enjoy Shiatsu / Reiki massages.
It is about 2 hours from Porto (the nearest airport). You can take a bus to Oliveira do Hospital, where we will pick you up.
Hiking – There are many marked tracks in the area. For a more challenging hike, you could walk in the Serra da Estrela, which can be done with or without a guide.
Other activities include; Rock climbing, Swimming in the many river beaches, Kayaking , Horseback riding and Biking along the old train track.
